Required Qualifications for Teaching Candidates: Applicants for teaching positions in core subject areas (Math, Science, English, History, Spanish and Art) should generally meet the following requirements: 1) The equivalent of a college major in the subject area to be taught (at least 24 credit hours) OR a passing score on the appropriate subject area, Praxis or Place exam OR Colorado teaching license. Candidates should also have a 3.0 college grade point average or higher.
Required Qualifications for Adjunct Candidates: All Adjunct faculty must meet the following guidelines: 1) Masters Degree in the subject area in which they will teach; or 2) Masters Degree in any subject area with 18 graduate hours in the subject area in which they will teach. 3) Candidates must also provide copies of transcripts when submitting an application.
We are currently seeking a qualified instructor to teach PSY 101 and PSY 102 through Aims Community College to high school students on the CECFC campus.
Colorado Early Colleges Fort Collins High School (CECFC) program provides students in grades 9th-12th the opportunity to start working on college-level courses as soon as they are college ready. CECFC students can earn a combination of high school and college credits as they pursue a high school diploma and an Associate degree or higher for FREE.
Community College courses are taught on the CECFC high school campus. Qualifying students can take college courses off-campus at any Front Range or Aims Community College campus. All courses taken must satisfy degree requirements. Students may pursue an Associate of Applied Science and Certifications, an Associate of Arts or Science, or a four year degree.
Master's degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours of Psychology to qualify. The hours for both sections are Tuesday/Thursday from 9:50a – 1:20p. The Spring 2018 semester begins Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
