All students will complete their advising appointments through Teams as scheduled. You will receive a Teams virtual meeting link from your advisor 1 - 2 business days before your appointment. Please check back for further updates as your appointment time approaches.
The document below will guide you through how to access your advising appointment through Teams. If you have issues connecting with your advisor, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the advising desk at extension 118.
I never received the link to the virtual meeting
You will receive the link 1 - 2 business days before the appointment.
Make sure you have checked your student's CEC email for the link. It will look a lot like the email from Acuity with an extra link at the bottom. If you are still having trouble finding it, please contact the advising assistant, Emily Park and we'll walk you through how to access the link.
Also be sure to check the calendar section of the student's Teams application. The meeting will be visible there. Click through and hit join in the upper right hand corner at your meeting time.
What about Accuplacer?
Accuplacer testing has been moved to a mostly remote format. Students will be invited to test based on their Spring 2021 schedule during advising. In person options will be evaluated closer to the testing period
We can no longer make the time that we originally scheduled. What do I do?
In your original confirmation email from Acuity, there is an option to Cancel/Change your appointment. You will be able to pick a new time from that link and it will automatically be changed. Contact Emily Park (970-377-0044 ext 118) if you need to make changes to your appointment less than 24 hours in advance or if there are no available spots within your priority group.
