Acceptable Use: Internet use provides valuable opportunities for research, curriculum support, and career development. CECFC encourages the use of computers on campus to support academic studies:
Unacceptable Use: The following is a list of prohibited behaviors that relate to the usage of CECFC computers. Any misuse of CECFC technology will result in a Write Up.
Cell phones/iPods: Devices must not be visible and must be turned off while in classes. Students may use cell phones outside of their classes. For family emergencies, families must call the Attendance Monitor and students will be contacted. Students who must call home during class times may do so only from the CECFC Attendance Office or Administrative Offices. Cell phone use during exams will be considered cheating. iPods may not be used in classrooms.
Video and audio surveillance recorders may be used by CEC to monitor students on school grounds, buses, at bus stops, and at school-sponsored events, except in areas that if monitored would violate a student’s right to privacy (e.g., bathrooms, locker rooms, hotel rooms).
